⭐ Earn automatically
Points accrue on subscription renewals and activation bundle purchases.
🎟️ Two redemption paths
Convert points to coupons (one-time) or to site credits (auto-applied to invoices).
💳 Stripe or PayPal
Coupons work for both; site credits are recommended for PayPal to reduce checkout friction.
🛡️ Good standing required
Fraud holds, disputes, or suspensions block redemptions until resolved.
How you earn points
Automatic Earning
Points are awarded automatically based on your account activity and milestones:
| Earning Opportunity | When It Happens | Details |
|---|---|---|
Subscription Renewal | Each billing cycle | Scaled by activation bundle size; posts after successful payment. Long-term customers may receive bonus multipliers. |
New License Purchase | At checkout | Awarded on successful payment (Stripe/PayPal). First license may earn a welcome bonus. |
Account Anniversaries | 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, etc. | Automatic congratulatory bonuses at major milestones. |
Activation Milestones | Reaching 5, 10, 20, 50+ activations | Bonus points when you cross activation count thresholds. |
Migration Bonus | Successfully migrating from legacy system | One-time reward for completing migration to v3 platform. |
Tier Upgrades | Reaching Silver, Gold, or Platinum | Celebrate achieving new loyalty tiers with bonus points. |
Community Spirit | Someone uses a coupon you created | Earn 50 points when another user redeems a single-use coupon you shared instead of using it yourself. |
Referrals | When referred users complete purchases | Earn points when friends you refer become active customers. |
Seasonal Events | Special occasions & holidays | Limited-time bonuses during promotional periods. |
Birthday Bonus | Your account anniversary date | Annual celebration reward (if birth date is on file). |
Earning Conditions
| Requirement | Impact |
|---|---|
Good Standing Required | Fraud holds, open disputes, or account suspensions pause all earning and redemption until resolved. |
Cooldown Periods | Some bonuses have cooldown windows (e.g., referral bonuses once per 30 days) to prevent abuse. |
Valid Payment Method | Payment failures or expired cards can pause automatic earning on renewals. |
Active Subscription | Renewal bonuses require an active, auto-renewing subscription in good standing. |
Eligibility checks
Redemptions pause if your account has fraud holds, open disputes, or a suspension. Clear those flags, then refresh the Rewards page to redeem.
Tiers and progress
| Tier | Lifetime points | Benefits |
|---|---|---|
Bronze | Entry | Base earning rate; all automatic bonuses enabled |
Silver | e.g., 2,500 | Enhanced renewal multipliers; priority for seasonal events |

Platinum | e.g., 15,000 | Maximum earning multipliers; exclusive anniversary rewards |
Progress tracking
See your exact thresholds and next-tier progress inside the Rewards page. Values above are illustrative if your instance uses dynamic thresholds.
Redeeming points
You earn 1 point per dollar spent. When redeeming, 1 point = $0.01 for both coupons and site credits.
| Path | Conversion | Expiry | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
Coupons | 1 point = $0.01 discount | 30 days after creation | Initial purchases, one-time discounts |
Site credits | 1 point = $0.01 credit | No expiration | Stripe renewals with auto-apply enabled |
Conversion Examples
- 75 points = $0.75 coupon or $0.75 in credits
- 500 points = $5.00 coupon or $5.00 in credits
- 1000 points = $10.00 coupon or $10.00 in credits
Payment Provider Differences
Critical: PayPal Subscription Limitations
Active PayPal subscriptions (auto-renew mode) cannot use credits or coupons on renewals. PayPal’s billing agreements lock in the payment amount when the subscription is created. Once a PayPal subscription is running, the renewal amount cannot be modified.
Solution: Enable PayPal Manual Payment Mode in Settings → Preferences to use coupons and credits on renewals.
What this means:
- ✅ Coupons and credits work at initial purchase (both modes)
- ✅ Stripe subscriptions can auto-apply credits to renewals (if enabled in Settings)
- ❌ PayPal auto-renew subscriptions cannot apply credits or coupons to renewals
- ✅ PayPal manual payment mode allows credits and coupons on renewals
Stripe Subscriptions (Recommended)
Full flexibility with credits:
- Enable Auto-Apply Credits to Renewals in Settings → Preferences → Billing & Credits
- Convert points to site credits on the Rewards page
- Credits automatically offset your next Stripe invoice before charging your card
- Works with saved payment methods - seamless and automatic
Coupons at purchase:
- Apply coupon codes at initial checkout
- Reduces the first payment amount
- Cannot be applied to future renewals (use credits instead)
PayPal Subscriptions
PayPal has two payment modes, controlled via Settings → Preferences → Billing & Credits:
Auto-Renew Mode (Default):
- ✅ Coupons and credits work at initial purchase
- ❌ Cannot use coupons or credits on renewals
- PayPal subscriptions lock in the payment amount when created—the billing agreement cannot be modified without canceling and recreating
Manual Payment Mode:
- ✅ Coupons and credits work at initial purchase
- ✅ Coupons and credits work on renewals
- Each renewal is a one-time payment, allowing full discount flexibility
- You’ll receive invoice reminders 7 days before expiration
Enable Manual Payment Mode:
- Go to Settings → Preferences → Billing & Credits
- Toggle PayPal Manual Payment Mode to ON
- New purchases and renewals will use manual payments instead of subscriptions
PayPal $0.01 Minimum Transaction
PayPal enforces a $0.01 minimum for all transactions. If your coupons and credits reduce an order to $0.00:
- Stripe will process it at $0.00 (free)
- PayPal will charge $0.01 (minimum enforced)
When you see a $0.00 total at checkout, you’ll see a notice explaining that PayPal requires $0.01 while Stripe processes it free. Choose Stripe if you want a truly free checkout after discounts.
Recommendation for PayPal users
Enable Manual Payment Mode if you want to use loyalty rewards on renewals. Alternatively, switch to Stripe subscriptions for automatic credit application with seamless auto-renewal.
Conversion path (in-app)
- Open Dashboard → Rewards.
- Check your points balance and good standing status.
- Pick a redemption path:
- Create coupon: Enter points (e.g., 500 points = $5.00 coupon), generate a single-use code, apply at your next checkout. Expires in 30 days.
- Convert to credits: Enter points (e.g., 500 points = $5.00 credits), adds to your site credits balance. Never expires. Auto-applies to Stripe renewals if enabled in Settings.
- Refresh to see the updated balance and your generated coupons.
