Command Reference

Every command below is a Discord slash command — type / in the QuickBox.IO server and Discord filters the list as you type. Commands are grouped by what they do, not by who can run them; the Access column tells you what each one needs.

Start with /verify

If you own a QuickBox Pro licence, run /verify before anything else on this page. It is the recommended way to verify, and it is the shortest: a private conversation in your DMs where the bot asks for the email or username on your v3.quickbox.io account, emails you an eight-digit code, and you paste the code back. Nothing is needed from your server, and no keys change hands.

Three things happen when it completes. You get the 🌟Verified role, which is what the Verified commands below check for. Your onboarding quest is closed out for you, so there is nothing else you need to run to get moving. And your Discord account is linked to your QuickBox Pro account — which is the part that saves you work later: from then on /server add reads the active installs already on your licence and offers them to you as a list, instead of asking you to type in a server URL and a read key.

No v3.quickbox.io account yet?

Verification resolves against a v3.quickbox.io account, so you need one. If you are still on the older quickbox.io platform, bring your licence across with the Migration Utility — signing in with Discord while you register does the Discord link for you in the same step. If you would rather verify against your installation instead, /verify-start takes your install details directly.

The full walkthrough, including what to do when the email does not arrive, is on Verifying Your License.

Access is about your role, not where you run it

Commands are gated by who you are — anyone, verified members, or staff — never by which surface you use. If a command is not gated for your role, it appears and works.

FAQ

Use /verify. It is a DM conversation, it needs nothing from your server, and completing it links your Discord account to your QuickBox Pro account — so /server add can offer you the installs already on your licence instead of asking for a URL and a key. Use /verify-start only if you would rather verify against the installation directly, or your licence predates the v3.quickbox.io portal. Both grant the same Verified role.
Discord hides commands you are not permitted to run. Staff commands never appear for members. Verified-only commands do appear but reply with an access-denied message until you verify.
Most replies are private to you. Setting show:true posts the reply into the channel so others can see it — useful in a support thread. Pair it with hidden:true to mask your hostname.
It obfuscates the hostname or IP in the output so the readout can be shared publicly without exposing where your server lives.
The host option is optional on most commands and resolves to your linked server automatically. It exists so members with several servers can choose.
Verification continues in a DM once you start it in the server. Other commands are run in the server so the bot can check your roles.
